Meet the PTA

Hi, my name is Brandie Yost, and I am the CVEPTA President. This is my fourth year as president and sixth year on the PTA overall. This is also my third year working at CVE! Outside of school, I'm also a wife, a mom to a 20-year-old and a 9-year-old, and a Girl Scout leader. Being a member of the PTA allows me the opportunity to know what's happening within CVE and form relationships with our teachers and staff. I invite any parent or community member to come to our next PTA meeting and see what we're all about. For the 2022-23 school year, we are meeting on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 AM in the CVE commons. Translation is available at all meetings!

My Name is Andrea Emery; I have been a member of CVEPTA since 2015. I grew up in the area and love where we live. Both of my kids started preschool at CVE and continued school there through 5th grade. I have a 10-year-old daughter named Kaidence who is in 5th grade at CVE. My son Jayden is 14 and is an 8th grader at Riverside Middle School.
I was an Art teacher at CVE for several years before I decided to pursue a career that allowed me the flexibility to keep up with my kid's very busy schedule. Although I miss my CVE family, I am lucky enough to still have communication through the PTA. CVE is definitely like a second home to me, and I couldn't say enough good things about the staff and students at CVE; it is a special place. When I am not working and running my kids around, I am hiking, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. 

My name is Angela Miller Roe, and I am the PTA Secretary. I have been on the PTA for 5 plus years. I have three sons, they are in 1st, 5th, and 8th grade. I work from home doing administrative duties for our Roofing Company. I love being on the PTA because it gives me the opportunity to be involved with the school and know all the current events. 

Hi, I’m Katie Roberts. This is my second year on our PTA and first year as treasurer. I am the step-mom to a third grader here. Outside of school, I am an accountant. I like being on the PTA because I am able to know what is happening with the school.
