The CVE Student Council members are
role models of Cougar pride. 
 

They shine their leadership every day by saying the morning announcements, promoting school events, and making posters, as well as showing the younger students what it means to be a Cougar by following the 3 B’s.

In addition, our Student Council officers raise the flag each morning and fold it up each afternoon. This year they helped facilitate the naming of a new flavor milkshake at Culver's called the Cougar Crunch. Student Council members help beautify our school grounds by picking up trash outside during recess. They also hold fundraisers raising funds for the community and at the same time helping CVE celebrate the holidays. For example, they sold Candy Grams for Valentine's Day, raising funds to help support the Journey Home Animal Shelter in Rifle. 

They are learning how to be future leaders by modeling kindness, respect, safety, and responsibility at CVE.
