Leading with Heart
At Cactus Valley Elementary, Student Council members make a difference both in school and throughout the community. Through fundraisers held during the year, students learn the value of service by supporting local organizations they choose themselves—building leadership, compassion, and community pride along the way.
Growing Toward Success
Our Grow to Green initiative helps students develop meaningful goal-setting skills that extend beyond the classroom. By setting personal goals, tracking progress, and celebrating growth, students build confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset—especially during standardized testing and other academic milestones.
Learning Through Experience
Some of the best lessons happen outside the classroom. From fishing and rafting adventures to exploring the Silt Historical Park, visiting local first responders, and planting pollinator gardens, CVE students experience hands-on learning that brings classroom concepts to life while fostering curiosity and a deeper connection to their community.
